Policy Matters Ohio does
annual research on working people in the state of Ohio and on a wide-variety of
other related issues.

organized and hosted four
Progressive Scholars conferences (Kent State
University, Oberlin
College, the University of Akron, and Otterbein College) and a
symposium
on the economics of criminal justice (Kent State University).

Policy Matters staff
often testifies in Ohio House and Senate Committee hearings.
Examples of such testimony can be found on our pages related to
the
Taft Tax Proposal,
Unemployment Compensation Tax Avoidance, the
U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission,
the
Cleveland Living Wage law. and the
Minimum Wage.
