The Ohio Progressive

Scholars Network

The Ohio Progressive Scholars Network, a group of over 60 academics across the state, has been meeting annually since 1999 to discuss how to make our research relevant to policy making, and how academic work can shape our communities. The Network is a unique expansion on Policy Matters Ohio’s goals, representing a broad array of social, economic, historical and cultural research.

Annual conferences and the Progressive Scholars listserv have become stimulating forums where colleagues, activists and journalists meet to exchange ideas on teaching, research and community work, and to launch collaborative projects.  Policy Matters is honored to work with and assist Network researchers in releasing their work to the public.
