Ohioans are experiencing sticker shock as they consider health insurance options for 2026, especially for coverage through the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) Health Insurance Marketplace. As the ACA’s enhanced Premium Tax Credits are set to expire at year-end, the financial impact of recent federal budget cuts could be devastating.

Policy Matters Ohio and Protect Our Care will discuss what’s driving costs up and immediate steps Ohio Marketplace enrollees can take to limit damage to their wallets and push for continued affordable coverage.

This nonpartisan, public event is open to the press and intended for Ohioans who are alarmed by steep Health Insurance Marketplace cost increases.
