Supreme Court ruling should spark continued health reforms

Today’s Supreme Court ruling upholds a critical component of the Affordable Care Act that has allowed more than 161,000 Ohioans to afford health insurance coverage on the federal health insurance marketplace. With this important decision, thousands of Ohio families will be able to continue to benefit from health reform’s promise of quality, affordable health care. Now that the court has ruled, it’s time for policymakers to end divisive efforts to dismantle health reform and repeal the Affordable Care Act. Instead, our leaders should work together to make sure we deliver on health reform’s promise of healthier people, reduced costs and a stronger system of quality, affordable health care for all.
